Dancing Clown — Music Video Production

“Dancing Clown” was an incredible project that we had the pleasure of creating together with Denis Markined. We filmed across several beautiful locations in Alanya, starting with Gazipaşa Beach, a stunning, rocky shoreline with a breathtaking view. We were there at 5 AM, shooting before sunrise to capture the perfect light. During scouting, we found rock formations where Denis could lay down for the dramatic opening shots, which we filmed using drones. The whole experience was both intense and inspiring.

The production was led by me and Richard, handling everything from drone and camera work to building a complete studio setup. We arranged all the lighting, smoke machines, and multiple creative environments for the scenes. Angelica joined as the lead actress, starring alongside Denis, who performed as the main character.

We also filmed at the Alanya Theater for the theatrical scenes, and the painting sequence was shot in a studio in Alanya, where we even brought in a real painter to enhance the authenticity. The storyline of the music video revolves around Denis’ character, an artist torn between two worlds: constantly performing and pleasing his audience, yet struggling to enjoy his own life with his wife. It’s a smooth, emotional song, and by the time we completed the editing, all of us were singing it non-stop. That’s how much we enjoyed being part of this project.

From developing the shot list and storyboard, to crafting the scenario together with Denis, to shooting and editing every scene—this project was entirely produced by us from start to finish. And it was an absolutely great experience.
